Huldra Helektra is a self-taught visual artist from Denmark.

Huldra Helektra is therapeutic/healing art in various forms. Primarily paintings, but furthermore photography, videography, and dancing. 

With nature as a cornerstone and incorporating nature-therapy.

The paintings of Huldra Helektra is nordic visionary shamanic art, with a twist of fantasy.

What is visionary shamanic art?

It is paintings based on visions from inner journeys It is art that comes from strange/mystic experiences, dreams, meditations or other altered states of mind. A timeless art, that are making the invisible visible and the unconscious conscious. 

You can always find light and eyes in the artworks and each piece takes Huldra on a meditative journey that results in healing, self and life realizations.

Every artwork of Huldra incorporate and explores themes such as philosophy, mythology,  psychology, spirituality, folklore, ancient cultures, metaphysics, biology, cosmology, ect. 

Additionally they can be described as a mixture of symbolism, surrealism, fantasy and archetypal art.
